The 27th edition of the Hungarian Open is set to take place in 2025, featuring two exciting tournaments: the WDF Gold category Hungarian Open Master and the WDF Silver category Hungarian Open Classic
Located in the heart of Budapest, the Gerevich Aladár National Sports Hall is a premier venue for both athletes and sports fans. Named after the legendary Hungarian fencer, this facility hosts a variety of national and international events, from fencing to basketball.
Conveniently situated near the city center, the hall is easily accessible by public transport, including buses, trams, and the metro. Its proximity to Budapest’s vibrant cultural and entertainment districts makes it an ideal destination for visitors.
This year marks a special milestone — for the first time ever, the Master event will be held as a Gold category tournament! With a €17,000 prize fund, valuable ranking points, and a direct qualification to the Lakeside World Championship for the winner, it’s an unmissable opportunity for top players from around the globe.
The Classic tournament, a Silver category event, offers even more chances to shine, with additional ranking points and a total prize pool of €8,440 up for grabs.
